THE CONTRERAS FAMILY - SEPTEMBER '24

We are the Contreras Family. We adopted our little one, JW, 5 years ago and he has been the joy of our lives. We enjoy hiking as a family, picking fruit/veggies from our garden & making food as a family together. 

We are now in our second adoption process. We started this process 4 years ago and due to some hurdles to my health & our house that needed construction that came up, our home study took years to approve. Thankfully we have now been home study approved for years and now are navigating a new hurdle. 

We were in the waiting period for a while to get matched before CA state laws changed in January of 2024. Due to the change in CA state laws in private adoptions they re-routed most private adoptions to find an agency to sign with. We are now raising funds to sign with the Family Network Agency. We are one thousand away from signing with our agency and 26k from being fully funded for our adoption. 

We are so grateful that our family and friends have been praying, encouraging & supporting us in this journey. We are hopeful we will reach our goal in the next year!
